Dutch poultry giant Plukon has discontinued its Better Chicken Commitment (BCC) handbook, Belgian farmers’ union Boerenbond reports in its newsletter. Growing chickens under those specs is problematic because of the current focus on nitrogen restrictions in Flanders.
