Bioiberica unveils 3 new products in its Nucleoforce range

Bioiberica has launched its extended Nucleoforce product line for animal immune and intestinal health. The range will feature 3 new functional ingredients designed to address demand for a broader and more aspirational approach to animal nutrition: Nucleoforce Immunity, Nucleoforce Performance, and Nucleoforce High Flowability (HF).

Hotraco Agri launches Fortica MAX

Hotraco Agri has introduced an all-in-one control system for poultry farm management, the Fortica MAX. This controller offers complete automation and monitoring of all critical barn processes, including climate control, ventilation, feeding, watering, lighting, animal weighing and egg flow management. The system is compatible with every poultry housing type, including broilers, layers, breeders and pullets, across floor housing, cage-free, aviary, or free-range systems. 

ADM expands data-driven services and expertise to new regions

ADM has expanded its suite of SINCRO services in Mexico, Indonesia and across Europe. SINCRO is a synchronised ecosystem of smart, data-driven solutions designed to support farmers and feed professionals with nutritional insight, feed formulation inputs and monitoring with real-time adjustments for responsive operations management and improvement.

Aviagen SweChick and Nordic poultry producers celebrate 50 years

September marked half a century of Aviagen SweChick working hand in hand with poultry producers in Denmark, Finland, Sweden, Norway and Iceland as well as supplying chicks to the Baltics. To celebrate, SweChick welcomed more than 50 customers and sector representatives to an anniversary event in mid-September where knowledge exchange was at the heart of the program. 

DSM-Firmenich enters into new partnerships with Sustell

DSM-Firmenich Animal Nutrition & Health and Schothorst Feed Research have announced a strategic partnership through which Schothorst Feed Research will leverage Sustell to answer sustainability-related questions and, where relevant, integrate into Schothorst’s own research trials. DSM-Firmenich has also partnered with Bayer. The companies have signed a MoU to advance sustainability in the animal agriculture sector, also through Sustell.

Royal De Heus acquires CJ Feed & Care 

On 1 October Royal De Heus signed a Share Purchase Agreement to acquire 100% of CJ Feed & Care’s operations in Vietnam, Indonesia, South Korea, Cambodia, and the Philippines. This acquisition includes 17 feed mills. Pending customary regulatory approvals, the transaction is expected to close in the first half of 2026. 

DSM-Firmenich and Schothorst Feed Research partner Sustell

DSM-Firmenich Animal Nutrition & Health and Schothorst Feed Research have announced a strategic partnership to drive sustainability in animal nutrition and feed production. Through this collaboration, Schothorst Feed Research will leverage Sustell to answer sustainability-related questions and, where relevant, integrate into Schothorst’s own research trials. 

Czech Ross 308 customers mark new milestones in flock performance

Aviagen Kft celebrated the performance of its Ross 308 customers in the Czech Republic. Four broiler companies, with 3 million birds among them, delivered 34 flocks with European Production Efficiency Factor scores above 420, and 1 Parent Stock (PS) producer with 700,000 breeders earned a place in the Ross 150 Club with 4 flocks surpassing 150 chicks per hen housed (chicks/hh), including 1 reaching 162 chicks/hh. These accomplishments were recorded in 2023 and 2024. At an awards ceremony, these producers were welcomed into the Ross 420 Club and Ross 150 Club. HBL Farmy received the top Ross 420 Club recognition, with its Zálesí farm reaching an impressive EPEF of 473. In the PS category, Xaverov’s Jarošov farm achieved the highest breeder flock at 162 chicks/hh.

Royal Jaarbeurs expands VIV portfolio to West Africa

defaultVNU Europe has announced the first edition of VIV Africa, which will take place in 2027 in Abidjan, Ivory Coast. With this, VIV introduces an annually alternating exhibition format: in even years in Kigali, Rwanda, and in odd years in Abidjan, Ivory Coast. VIV Africa is already being organised in Kigali, providing VIV with a solid foundation in East Africa. 

New technical service manager at Novus

With over 10 years at Novus and a wealth of experience in the agriculture industry, David Sanchez Torres is bringing his expertise to Asia as the new senior regional technical services manager in the region. He will be based at the regional office in Bangkok, Thailand.
