In ovo technology driving hatchery  modernisation

In ovo vaccination has widely been accepted as an effective means of obtaining early immunity in day-old chicks. Particularly in the US the majority of professional large scale hatcheries have adopted this technology. Outside the US, in ovo is also finding its way into smaller sized hatcheries.
