Poultry production in the Asian splinter states of the former Soviet Union is on the rise. They see the inflow of investments and rising interest of government authorities. Following Russia’s lead, most of these countries aim to push cheap imports out of the domestic market with protectionist measures. Domestic investors are being persuaded to invest money in an expansion of local production. All countries in Central Asia share common issues and challenges when it comes to politics, economics
