Slow growers are more active

During a study on the well being of broilers the use of perches and agility of slow growing breeds was compared to a regular commercial breed. It appeared that the slower growing breeds made more use of perches and were more agile than the ‘regular’ broiler. This article can also be found at World Poultry Volume 17 number 8.
